Policy
Hornsby Automotive Group is conscious of
the importance of privacy to our customers. As such, we are
strongly committed to providing a transparent and coordinated
approach to managing the interaction with our customers. Our
Australian privacy statement has been developed in accordance
with the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and the
associated National Privacy Principles (NPPs). This policy
relates to all modes of interaction between Hornsby Automotive
Group and our customers.
The Hornsby Automotive Group privacy
policy reflects our compliance with the Spam Act
2003.
1. What personally identifiable
information is collected?
Hornsby Automotive Group receives identifying information in a
number of ways and through a number of different mediums.

When having the car serviced.
The personally identifying information collected may consist of
basic contact information: Name, title, home address, email
address, and telephone and fax numbers. Other demographic
information, such as gender and occupation, is actively sought
through our ongoing efforts to better understand our customers
and to service their needs. It is Hornsby Automotive Group's
policy to ensure that the information collected is relevant to
the experience of owning and driving a Mazda.
Visitors are also able to send emails
from the Hornsby Automotive Group web site. These messages may
contain the user's screen name and email address, as well as
any additional information the user may wish to include in the
message.
The Hornsby Automotive Group policy is
not to seek any sensitive information through interaction with
our customers. In the case of fleet purchases, sensitive

To ensure that we are familiar with the interaction of our
customers and the various departments within Hornsby Automotive
Group, various measures have been put in place by Hornsby
