Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS)

It also assesses your transmission and where fitted, safety systems including airbags, ABS and DSC. Note: On Mazda3 and Mazda6 Diesel models, it is required for the engine control system to be reset with the M-MDS at each service due to the sophisticated emission controls which are used. If the ‘reset’ is not carried out, one of the engine emission warning lights may light up and ultimately result in limited engine performance.
